This novel is a sequel to Nicholas Spark's The Notebook. It follows the married life of Noah and Allie's daughter, Jane and her husband. After 30 years of being married and their three children having gone off to college there is a lost sense of passion and love between the two. They no longer act the same as they did earlier in their marriage. Jane's husband follows Noah's advice leading to the recovery of their relationship.
