The Lovely Bones is a novel about a young girl who murdered by a neighbor of hers. He leaves almost no trace of the murder and throws the police off the trail.
Susie’s family is hit super hard by her death. They begin to be known as the family of the girl murdered in the cornfield. They all want the pain their experiencing to go away and they all deal with that in different ways. Susie watches down on her family from heaven trying to lead them to her killer. Although to one family member who feels that he knows who killed her is drove to do something drastic. Susie watches how the family she knew falls apart. She watches her family try to get rid of the pain involved with her death. For years she watches the people she knew get to do the things she would never experience. She also watches over her family and a few times they share a bond where the feel Susie’s presence. Will the police find her killer without finding a body? This book is very mysterious and detailed. It is super interesting and has a great story line. It keeps you interested all the way to the end. The way the author develops the character relationships is great. It is a very good book.
