All We Know of Heaven

All We Know of Heaven is a very good title and a hook. By just reading this so far, you already want to read more about it and what people already know about heaven. The author, Jacquelyn Mitchard, wrote about these two girls, Bridget Flannery and Maureen O’Malley. They are best friends who happen to be neighbors and almost look exactly alike. Bridget is more of the leader of them two, but Maureen does not seem to mind. They never keep secrets from each other especially a situation happened with Bridget’s boyfriend, Danny, that Maureen could never tell anyone, even though Bridget and Maureen were not in the best place together.
Bridget and Maureen’s lives suddenly changed really fast and there was nothing they could do to make it go back to the way things was before. They both were in a really bad car accident. The doctor’s could not tell them apart because of how bad the accident was and sadly, Maureen does not live. Danny had a special connection with Maureen. They were very close friends and they always knew how the other person felt. Danny and Maureen did something one night that they planned on not telling anyone, especially Bridget because Danny loves her. He worries about Bridget and how she thinks she looks because of all of the stitches on her face. Those stiches are causing her to not being able to talk. The accident caused a lot of broken bones all over her body and she got a really bad brain damage that causes her to have a disability. There is a plot twist that changes the whole story. Jacquelyn Mitchard does a very good job in writing it and how that could have happened. All of this is an actually story that happened. I wonder what the plot twist is about.
