Love is the most complicated emotion. Some people are suffering because of love; some people are enjoying love. There are always some people who think they are smart enough to control love, they want to help their friends to find true love, but love is not that easy. Emma is a masterpiece of famous novelist Jane Austen, in this book she created a rich girl named Emma. She tried to match people to a couple, but she made some troubles, because she didn’t understand the real love.

Emma describes an easygoing, beautiful, young and helpful lady who was born in a wealthy family. Emma had everything she wanted, and she had never think about marriage. She loved to be a matchmaker, after her friend Ms. Taylor got married, Emma felt lonely, the lucky thing was she became Harriet’s friend, and she began to control Harriet to find her partner.

Emma’s life was perfect, her family was wealthy enough, that caused Emma had no desire to get new things, because she had already got everything. But she was interested about love. She matched Harriet to Mr. Elton and Frank, because she wanted her friend to be happiness, but she didn’t know that love is much more complex than she imagined. Emma was different as some other ladies as well. She knew respecting which is an important thing. Emma despised Ms. Bates, but when Mr. Knightley figured that out, Emma felt shameful to her and changed that. She was selfish and snobbish at the beginning of the whole story, but after her heart-searching she changed a lot, and she found that she was in love with Mr. Knightley. Emma became a better girl, and she understood how real love was, her friend Harriet went back to find her true love Martin. Emma changed herself, and she made the best end of her own story, fell in love with someone she loved.

This book figures a smart and bright young lady, Emma, and how she changed better with love. With the spirit of Emma, this story teaches the readers, love is much more complicated than you think, but love is always being with you. All you have to do is changing yourself, and find it.
